Joel Brown - His wife was Mary and he came to
Conecuh County Alabama from Edgefield District, S.C. in 1818.
Have records of land sold in S.C. and bought in Conecuh
County. I am descended from his youngest son, Russel who was
born in S.C. in 1810. He married Eliza Jane Kirkpatrick on
March 18, 1841. My g-grandfather was their some James born in
Al and died in Al. I have not been able to prove the siblings of
Russel nor go back further than Joel. Would appreciate any
